The shirt you purchase will be hand painted just for your graduate!
The shirt will read Class of 2007 in keeping with this year.
(Please note that these make great gifts for alumni as well. Just indicate the year in the order form.) |
The first step when you order is to pick a logo design. This is often the graduate's chosen vocation or just something in which the graduate is interested. For instance, our model loves anything to do with princesses. Her logo was subsequently designed with a sparkling silver tiara crown, necklace, and matching scepter, using pink and purple jewels for accents. I did the wording under the logo in sparkling silver, with two jewels for the 00 in the year. The back of the shirt was done in sparkling silver, purple, and pink. We used a Bible verse to complement the princess theme. (The closeup picture was taken on the model, accounting for the slight distortion.)
Choosing the wording for the back is the second step. You may choose any Bible verse, the graduate's name, or other wording that is not obscene or hateful. Most often, the wording complements the logo design on the front. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, I cannot use the name of the graduate's school.
The following sample was done for a graduate of a vocational school who is currently studying at culinary school to be a chef. The logo has a white chef hat, a white mixing bowl with a blue stripe, and a blue spoon. In place of the 00 in the year, I used hand painted eggs. Since the school colors were blue and gold, I used that color scheme with the white. The Bible verse on the back complements the logo design.
The next sample was a gift for a graduate who is currently studying music in college. She also loves monkeys, which made designing this shirt a challenge. I decided on an old style, street performer monkey playing the cymbals. I used blue and orange, her favorite colors, as a color scheme. The Bible verse on the back complements the logo.
The following shirt was hand painted for a graduate with a strong faith in the Lord Jesus who loves flowers. I designed hand painted wildflowers in a spring bouquet, lying on an open Bible. The 0's in the year have wildflowers hanging on them. I used many different colors for the Bible verse, which complements the logo design.
The next hand painted graduate shirt was designed for a young lady who loves to read and write. The design is an open Bible with an inkwell and feather pen. I used her favorite colors, green and purple, for the color scheme. The wording complements the logo and her sense of humor.
This graduate was difficult to design for, as I did not know her very well. So, if you have to get a gift for a graduate you do not know very well, there are generic designs that can be done. For this young lady, I did a hand painted pink rose with a glitter finish. I was able to find out her favorite colors, pink and pale green, which I used for the lettering. The verse on the back complements the design.
Although I currently only have a young woman model, these shirts are great for young men as well. Popular designs for men are realistic planes, cars, guitars, etc. Last year, I did an alligator for one young man who is very interested in wildlife and wrestled alligators in Florida. I do not have a picture of that one yet. The following is a shirt I did for a 2005 graduate that plays guitar. He chose the verse and color scheme himself.
Price shown for a white or black tee shirt. Long sleeved shirts and sweatshirts are available at additional cost. If you want another color, please contact me for a custom quote.
Do you love this idea, but are not sure what logo and wording your graduate might like? I offer gift certificates that you can give to the graduate, who can specify the design when he or she redeems it.
You may love this design, but are you a little nervous that this item may not wash well? Set your fears aside! I use fabric painting techniques that work, creating hand painted clothing that is machine washable, comfortable, and durable.
