A Unique Boutique

When I opened Fingerprints Boutique, I wanted the name to say as much as possible about what I do and who I am. If you think “unique” when you hear the name of my online boutique, then I have accomplished my goal.

What is unique?

Fingerprints are the most unique quality we have, even more unique than our signatures. They are an amazing feature God has given us, to show our individuality. No two people throughout all history have ever had the same fingerprints! Now, that is unique!

Yet, the similarities in our fingerprints are a reminder that we are all part of the same human race, all valued by the Creator and made in His image. We are imprinted with His Fingerprints, in a way. Rarely is a person born without fingerprints! They are our marks, our unheard voices shouting, “I was here.”

Even our precious little ones leave their tiny fingerprints everywhere as they touch, explore, and discover! We wipe them away now, but we only have a small window of time before we miss seeing fingerprints on the glass. As our children grow, they are learning to celebrate their God-given uniqueness.

What is a boutique?

The word “boutique” means “shop” in French. According to Wikipedia, a boutique is a small store, which specializes in fashionable, unique items such as jewelry and clothing. When you shop at a boutique, you often receive excellent customer service combined with unique, quality products!

Fingerprints Boutique is no exception! No two products are ever exactly the same. Everything is hand painted or hand crafted, even the ready-to-ship products. Even the same designs cannot be fully duplicated. Hand painted boutique clothing, hand crafted boutique accessories, hand painted pottery, and an assortment of personalized gifts all share the same thing in common. Unique!
